Just a quick question My Hatch release near the drivers seat doesn't seem to be releasing the hatch consistantly anymore, and I was just wondering if the hatch is meant to pop open, or pop up slightly - or is it meant to be pulled from the unlocked latch If it is meant to pop up slughtly, I think I may need new gas struts for the boot..

Cheers guys. The adjustment has worked a treat. I think i still may need some new gas struts however as my boot does not always want to stay up when its open

now that my spoiler and wiper and motor have been removed.. and i removed the weight thats in there too, it pops up by itself. if your hatch doesnt stay up by itself then your struts need replacing. thats their only job.. not designed to shoot up.. but mine does now
Mine doesnt pop up cause I have a phat spoiler on the back.. aftermarket bomex (Removing it when I get the $$ too) Just too much weight on it...
