You must of bought crap tyres. I have toyo proxies and I can't get them to loose traction. I used to have shitty nankangs and they would slip out all the time.

    couple of problems i guess.

    1) never heard of them, guess they are cheap tyres
    2) get some camber arms and make camber close to 0
    3) get some fatter tyres aswell

    thats ur problem...

I have Dunlop Dirreza's... I got about 240rwkw, big clutch.
The only time they spin is when i dump the clutch, or when the tyres are COLD, or when i absolutely SMASH second gear early.

You have a problem, and that problem is cheap, shit tyres.
If you have 19" wheels, and cant afford good tyres on them, then I'm sorry to say, but ditch the 19's and drop to 17's where tyres are cheaper.

If you are not spending at least $250 on each corner, then you are only buying rubbish plastic tyres. Unfortunately, you DO get what you pay for.

Why wouldn't you do your homework before going to a tyre shop and getting ripped? My last set of goodyear f1's were around 220 each from memory.

But hey, this is how you learn....

    + 3.

When I bought my Zed you could tell the previous owner never drove it much, didn't drive it hard and didn't know much about cars.

Cheap brand tyres, steering wheel turned 45 degrees to right when steering straight (a simple $40 front wheel alignment fixed that - apparently he'd been driving it that way since HE bought it.) and the 4 year old tyres also had almost all of their original tread.

Took it out for my first spin on a mildly wet road and it was spinning and losing traction everywhere.

4 Bridgestone Potenzas and a wheel alignment later and I was all good.

    I love my Zed. :D
