I have replaced cores before, but not yet a Z core.
Just hope we can do it without disturbing the A/C.
I'll consult my manuals tonight to brush up.
'Suppose I can bring them along to the day, but NO GREASY MITTS!!
(I'm yet to use them myself!!)

Checked the manual & there's a picture of it....
But no procedure to remove it!
It looks like it can be separated from the A/C condenser, but it's bang in the middle.
So, a dash pull will be a given.

 

Well the weather looks good it appears we have a challenge withTom's heater core. See you tomorrow.

Chris has done a heater core before. He pulled the dash to do it (i remember many bad words said that day).
So he should be able to help out

 

Having done one I can tell you a dash pull is so much easier!!

The only issue with a dash pull is time, it's not hard!
