    Thanks Guys and Gals

Shame we missed you there Andrew, it was a bit of a comedy most of the time as we were ushering the fishermen away most of the time.
And yep it was cold. I drove the track car on the trailer down and the lovely wife and mate were in blue. They froze we were warm with climate control, as was Tony in his Zed. but, on the way back we pulled over and I explained that I did fit a heater and which switch it was

Hey Tony, WTF was it with that old guy with the gold chains in the fiesta x4?? did you see the lights on his ball cap.

Man, I've got no idea, but he sure did like to hang around and get in the way of my shots :p Next shoot we'll need to find a place with less fishermen :D

It was great to get a quick drive of the track car too. That sequential dog box is awesome! So simple, so brutal, every car should have one!

Agreed Sequential Boxes for all cars

Just need to get the lovely wife to agree to spending more money. Maybe you might like to join in with your upgrade on your zed. Did some one say group buy ;)

    Thanks again.

Back to the essays, as I am procrastinating.

    whats the weight distribution like?

The exact figures are on my website. But, it is a typical mid engine arrangement, pretty evenly ballanced with a bit of rear bias.

Thanks, and yes the black is the track version.

They look awesome, although i'm not too sure about the rear tail lights. Are they final? I think horizontal lights would flow with the lines of the car better but that's just me.

    Still wicked photos though! :)

amazing work, however considering you're looking to sell these monsters, I think I should let you know that the body styling doesn't seem all that popular.

Maybe we have different taste here or have a lower % of arseholes but on an american site (twinturbo.net) it copped some pretty harsh criticism.

I like the tail lights, not so keen on the headlights :)

    Hi Mike,
Thanks for the comments. Whilst we may disagree the interesting thing about personal opinions... they are well personal.
I certainly take all the comments on board, as harsh as some are, but I always put into context that they are a means to an end. There are some that don't like this and don't like that. I find them just interesting to hear (I mean I not going to hack in to the rear end with a sabre saw because some one thinks in needs a longer arese end, or they don't like it), but it the comments that add value that are the ones I am likely to act on.
The valuable comments normally start as, I really like the XXXX, but I would like to see a XXXX.
To begin with after the first release I was really concerned to please all the people. But, it was put in context when one guy at the melbourne motorshow took great lengths to explain how the car's design is flawed in that it would produce lift. It really concerned me that I got it all wrong, as aerodynamics was one of the greatest influences on the car styling, function before form. So I redid a lot of air flow modelling and took it out to 280km/hr to work out he was full of $hit.

The interesting thing about critics is that they rarely if ever have achieved anything themselves, and they are not the people who are buy the car nor are likely to buy the car.

Please do not take this the wrong way, as the electronic media is hard to portray the correct emotion. I do not take the comment personally, and am chuffed that someone takes the time to respond, but in addition it certainly gives me a guid for what the next one should have. (yep, that is right folks I have started on design number two, more horsepower and less weight!).
But, I am aware there are items that could be a lot better and actually we are planning on a full respray of both cars, once they are sorted, early next year, based on the weather and the supply of the new#######. So, I am taking all comments on board, after this paint job I am not likely to change.... I might go over to ttnet to see what the yanks are winging about.

Personally i absolutely love the rear, and the sides of the body, however i would love to see the car with a bit more agressive front end, longer and sexy instead of flat and curvy? with some big ass tyres on the end, and that absolutely beautiful wing on the black one:)

Ditto, why dont you try fitting some 99 spec z32 lights i reckon at the right angle they would look awesome.

    Hmm interesting

Sorry about the delay, Can I suggest that we move this discussion over to the Non-zed forum. I will place a copy of my post on there. With some photos. I do appreciate the comments. I hear what you are saying about the longer nose and the lights. I was originally going to use the 300zx head lights but I note that would be just copying an Italian company ;)

Interesting point about the rears as I was thinking that on the blue car. I have scope to probably go out to 305s or 315s, and I have pretty much chewed through the tyres on there. As for the rear wing, hmmm I like it on the black one, but I kind of like the lack of it on the blue one. Just me. Thanks again for the comments.

I was looking at the cams on the Conceptz site, has any one had any experience with their cam profiles. Also, what has everyone else experienced with their cams.
