Nothing really, just the clutch has gone but its more a possible failed diaphragm issue, not a wear one...will probably be putting a new clutch in anyway for peace of mind...just gota organise it now before the start of august

Forms are available on the NDSOC website http://www.ndsoc.com.au and the meetings are held in Sth Melbourne.

 

My friend and his girlfriend want to enter using the same car. So if they both pay the $50 entry fee can they use the same car and still get the same amount of runs as the other entrants?
Also regarding licences, neither of them are members of a cams affiliated club. So they want to get AASA licences as you don't need to be part of a club to get one. On the AASA licence form it says they need to be recommended by a Club, so if I can bring them to the next NDSOC meeting can they get those licence forms signed by someone from NDSOC?

 

sandeep thats the exact question i asked in my first post in this thread. doesnt look like anyone would be willing to help organising signing the forms. if you get it organised let me know.

 

I've sent an email to the NDSOC organiser asking if she can sign the forms at the next meeting. That won't leave a lot of time before the event to get the licence processed but it might be the only thing to do. It will mean anyone who wants to compete will have to come to the next club meeting, but that is a good chance to also hand in entry forms, and from what I've heard they are still a few positions available.

 

I'm working on this guys so stay posted.

OK. Licence forms can be lodged on the day or at the next NDSOC meeting.

You must print the licence form out and fill it in because there will be no spare forms available. There also looks to be as many as 10 spots still available, although that won't be definate until the club meeting.

AASA licence forms are available from the AASA website.

Event entry forms are available by sending me a PM with your email address in it.

 

Yes, if they both pay the entry they will be classed as seperate entries, just using the same car. The only time it will become a problem is during the last event of the day which is a knockout head to head event. They both couldn't race each other in the same car.

 

thanks for sorting that out Pete, I will pm you my email address so I can give my friends the entry forms to bring to the next meeting. also good to know that there will be battles at the end of the day, I reckon that's my favourite part of the deca days.

All are really close to each other, will do good prices for group bookings and a short drive from the DECA complex.

I'm not sure if I'll be driving up on saturday, depends if I have to work on Saturday night. If I do have to work then I'll be driving up on Sunday morning, leaving melbourne at 6am and will be at Shepparton Maccas at 8am.

I've seen a rough draft of the Supp Regs and scrutineering starts at 8.00, with driver breifing at 9.00 followed by track action. To save a few $$$ I was just going to head up Sunday morning. I think the Jedi clan are getting a lift with us and we were planning on stopping at the Shell servo at Kalkalo (where the new bypass bit joins the Hume) for breakfast at 5.45, to leave at 6.00.

It might be worth starting a new thread to organise a cruise up for people comming to watch. It should be a top day out if the weather is with us. The action is close and easy to see and spectating is free.
