    Hello ladies and gents,

So I got my Blazt USB cable from Caz (thanks very much!!) and I took the Z out for a quick spin with the laptop. 20 min drive with 5 min warm up, 10 mins spirited driving (not thrashing - see max rpm :)) and 5 min cool down. Took a screenshot afterwards sitting in my drive way. I'm happy with the cooling system as it just crept up to 83 degrees after a minute of idling in my driveway when I got back. Sat on 79 - 81 the rest of the time, although it was only 12 degrees outside.

My reason for posting is just to see if people with Z knowledge could see any anomalies in the screenshot below. The max speed was achieved whilst overtaking safely on the highway so don't flame - only just over the limit (110) but yes - illegal - and I'm duly sorry. The only thing I noticed was that TPS was 0.46 (not 0.44) is that close enough? Also I managed to miss IACV off there... oh well. No error codes either. O2's (at least the one I looked at) were hunting around as it should.

A final note - I strongly recommend buying one of these cables!! It's nice to know whats going on under that bonnet - at least to some extent.

EDIT: Car is 2 str TT 5spd with full stainless exhaust and Apexi pod filter. Otherwise stock.

    Thanks everyone!

    Regards,

    Dan

All looks normal for a static screenshot. TPS @ .46 ok.

    Thankyou :)

Good to hear. Obviously you can't tell too much from just that but it's a good starting point.

    Thanks again :zlove:

Just a hint - when you setup the gauges to display, make sure you pick both the std one and RH - ie you are displaying the O2 sensor - but thats only the LH one, you need to also select O2 RH in the settings so you can see both. That also goes for injector pulse, and duty cycle.... :zlove:

I still think the best function of datascan by far is the data logging line graph. Can't beat it for identifying relationships between variables.
Things like speed VS coolant temp and RPM for cooling efficiency at speed, AFM VS O2 operation etc.

    Priceless!

Just curious....is 78.44 a good peak value for duty cycle??? i would have thought that's a bit high....not sure....
