Datascan & O2 Sensor readings.

when I recieved datascan, there were very little in the way of instructions on the metrics of what it gathers, so I'm hoping to get some feedback from other users.

I thought that the 02 sensor readings were voltage, which should read anywhere between 00 and ~110 millivolts. I pulled a chart out today to map my O2 sensors, and saw one had readings as high as 260! That doesn't sound right to me, I suspect the sensor to be knackered.

I'm kinda new to this stuff...am I on the right track?

    Yes, on the right track...

Refer FSM section EF & EC for help. O2's should oscillate 5 times in 10 secs with engine above 69deg @ 2000 rpm.

NDS shows guage 0 to 100, or 0v to 1v, as per RH graph.

Looks like the LHS is out of whack doesn't it!!.

Did you let the car warm up first, the O2 sensors don't work properly until the exhaust is warmed up.

Ta boys! (20min run logged from cold)

Could this be anything but sensor, like the wiring harness? People talk about measuring the voltage on the connectors of the o2 sensors. This could be a newbie question but,

How do you get multi-meter probes down to an o2 sensor that's under the battery of a running car?

Or is it just easist to replace them...my car has done the clicks.

One dud O2 sensor via NDS is usually indicative of a faulty O2. Replace both, if $'s permit @ $85 ea, Trade price for NGK NTK direct fit sensors part no: OZA 446 E47, from memory.

Boost & vac leaks may fool the O2's, so a test for leaks is prudent.

You can put a mm on the connectors, located as follows, by inserting probes into back of connectors:
LH connector at rear of plenum, pass side; RH connector alongside middle of drivers side plenum.
