Is there any one who can steer me in the right direction where to get the dash on my zed repaired. It is lifting along the full length on the vent .
Hasn't cracked yet and don't want it to. I am up on the sunshine coast.

there is a tech section article on it but i cant find it atm...but you just need to get a really good adhesive and glue it back down...and i remember seeing in the article they put some heavy books on top of it to keep pressure down on it while it dries up so it doesnt lift....

Tip, instead of blocks of wood, use tennis balls. They jam nice and tight against the window but won't scratch the glass.

Mine just wont stay down. So I've ordered some new dash vents that will push the dash down.

i found the best and easiest was to remove the dash

vents to do the job .. first effort was half baked, second with vents removed worked well .. easy, peasy ....

To do this job properly you MUST..

A: Remove the plastic Air Vents,

B: Use Sikaflex rather than Araldite(it is better using a flexible adhesive),

C: Removing the Dash is the best method(but if you choose not to),

D: Use strips of wood on top of the area that has been glued down(to get an even, smooth finish) and press Tennis balls(or Squash balls) between the W/Screen glass and the wooden strips.
If you remove the Dash, you can use clamps to hold the wooden strips until the adhesive has set.

E: Refit Dash and Air Vents.

I did mine 4.5 years ago and there has been no sign of it lifting again.
