Was all pumped to go for a paddle this morning...got everything prepped, jumped in the car and nothing....dead battery, I didn't realise how long it had been since I used her last...so after cursing the automotive Gods I connected her to the charger and am praying the battery will charge sufficiently to start within the hour so I can be away...sorry I'm venting but it's been too long between sessions and finally a decent swell comes along and my car chooses not to cooperate....     Oh and I also need petrol if i'm going to make it to the beach so does anyone know how long I should drive before I can safely turn the ignition off and fill her up? I'm not too keen to get busted filling her with the engine running:(

i think you need to charge it abit longer than an hour. i got my battery almost fully charged after 24hrs.

Usually 45mins to an hour to be safe. Take your jump pack with you, or is it a non-portable one?
