I'll put a thread together on what i do and prices over this weekend. Who do i need to contact for permission to post a group buy on this forum?
I think you just go to the group buy section and read the guidelines...and then post up a thread...then one of the moderators will have look and approve it if all information is there...or shall let you know what needs to be added. Abraham
Definately interested!!! dependent on price. If you can do an LED type light that looks like the 99 spec lights (clear indicators, with red brake light I would be interested.) or even this option below would be interesting... This is a clear lens for both brake and indicator
i make the LED units that go inside the light unit more info here http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=313084
Up-date. Back on topic. I got this today. Sorry thought i had replied to this email. I will have your headlights done and ready to go by friday and i will call you and we'll fit them up. They are still the standard lens on at the moment but i am in the process of having them moulded/developed and made but will be at least a month away as i have exhausted all possibilities in Perth and practically Australia! Never the less there will be up around 100 sets for sale when they are finally released mate. The LED boards still have not arrived and i cannot express my frustration on this matter now but they will get done in due time I can do not much more but apologise. At least for the shoot you will have angel eyes and HIDs in your headlights, will look shit hot when they have polycarb lenses though im excited for when it finally happens.
I have to disagree with this. 4 year old headlight from customers car. 21 year old headlights, sorry this is not really close up but you get the idea. Now I like the initiative from John and each to their own but i quite like the look of the headlight glass without UV damage and stone chips.
Their not dirty. They are pitted and crazed. I did manage to give them a bit of life but the damage is still there
I don't understand why you would use poly instead of glass other than weight savings, or to make your lights bullet proof? haha. what are some other benefits? Cheers
It just modernises to look, that's all. Same thing with the tail lights. I'm just trying to bring the zed up to 2010 specs without stuffing up the natural beauty of the it.
Sorry if I've missed it somewhere, but will the ones you're getting done have all the fluting etc. removed, Gargs?
Gents, genuine question here... instead of lining up 2.3 shitloads of LEDs to make LED tail lights... why not use one EL strip? they're white when dormant then light up in the colour of choice...
...I thought this thread was about 'tail lights'? I reckon it'd be hard to come up with a headlight that actually looks better than the original Z32's :zlove:
Speaking about tail lights. I've been crook for ages so I haven't been following these up but here's an up-date I got today. Hi John, Sorry mate trying to sort out my new Internet modem at home, here is one pic of the right hand tail light complete. Lookin pretty sweet there was a lot more modifying to do then I first anticipated. I have been busy with all sorts of work lately so I have had to put this aside from my main work stuff.
