Just a quick question, trying to remove the pulley (Non Turbo Z) and i noticed some small chunks missing from the edge of the pulley (the lip closest to the timing belt).

Would this affect engine wear at all due to a somewhat 'unbalanced' rotating mass?? or is a gram out of a few kilo's irrelevant in this situation??

They've obviously been there for some time and I haven't noticed and never found any metal traces at oil changes.

I wouldn't be too concerned, probably caused by someone trying to get the damper off without a puller.

    ^^ This.

Use a bolt type puller and you shouldn't have any issues.
