COWRA ZEDFEST : A CRUIZE ... ??? ..please ..!!

guys and gals ....

with less than a month to go, and BATHHURST A NO GO, it would appear that we do NOT, as yet, have a cruiZe organised .....

is there not one kind zedder/soul out there, able to pick up the reins on this one and put the makings together for one u-beaut cruiZe ....????

 

I offered at the very start

Baz, but got no response.
Now I'm all booked up, every weekend until Zed Fest.
There are some great drives in & around Cowra, Young, Grenfell & Blayney.
Perhaps one of the very local members can arrange something on short notice.

The dam would be the best drive.

This is no little dam, it hold 3 times the water of sydney harbour and the dam wall is about 2kms long and it is huge.
You can go through a small town called woodstock and have a (1) drink at the very old pub. It's about 70kms round trip and a good drive.
I can't think off a better place.

I would suggest bringing bottled beer

 

a natural fruit drink, called "chardonnay" would be even

NOTE FOR ANDREW (oneforme): would it be feasible to combine a visit to the DARBYS FALLS OBSERVATORY with a cruise to the dam ...??? .. maybe our resident astronomer M. ONI could take us on a guided, zed focussed tour of the heavens,black holes et al ..... ???
