since i'm not working very much lately, i decided to hook up my greddy profec thats been sitting in the garage since september.

i got it all hooked up fine, and disconnected (what i believe to be) the solenoid electrical connectors (red and black clips either side of the engine)

however, when i went for a few test runs to tune it the peak boost was only hitting 5.8 - 6.2, so my first instinct was boost leaks....

i'm just wondering though, if by disconnecting the stock solenoids, the car natural tries to run 7psi, and you use the boost controller to crank it to what you want. meaning i might only have a .8 worth of a leak.

or, is this not the case and i've actually got a massive 2.8er?

also asking for any zedders around ferntree gully who might wanna let me use there leak tester?, funds are quite low and a mechanic would spend all day looking for any possible leaks.

all i have to offer are some anti theft number plate screws.
