Just removed my plenum and removed what hoses the tech article suggested to remove. I just need to confirm that i have removed the right pipings for my NA.

I done the coolant bypass as well as the EGR removal. The following pictures is my engine at the current state. Does everything look right? Anything else i have forgotten?

    Thanks in advance,
    Adam...

    A few comments to help.

I have just done mine but with engine in the car.

Basically you have the two large feed and return metal pipes coming out of the back of the engine, on each of these pipes you have two smaller diameter pipes coming off of them.

The four smaller diameter pipes are the ones that feed the under plenum pipework, you can either just put caps on all four or you can reroute them, the reroute is top pipe to bottom pipe from one to the other.

The two main pipe also have a large diameter outlet which from your pics looks like you have joined together with a hose, these large diameter outlets are the ones that feed your heater box which sits behind the dash, if you dont want a heater in the car then what you have done is ok but if you do want a heater you should get the two silicone hoses for connecting the two metal pipes to the two end that stick through the firewall.

    Hope this is of help.

What becandsteve are saying is exactly right so you should

remove that small rubber pipe coming off the right hand large pipe when you are looking at the back of the engine (4th picture down) and is shown very clearly in the 5th picture down. You are very fortunate that you have the engine out as that little hose is a real pain to get off with the engine in. In one of the tech articles it has this hose left in but remember it too will be over 15 years old and likely to fail. Cheerz.
