I just purchased my '92TT off my brother (Bagz), I am going to take it to a trusted mechanic (and friend) to give it the once over as it hasn't really been driven in the last 3 months. Can he access the engine management system without a Conzult cable? Forgive me if this is a dumb question but I want everything to be as good as can be when I start driving it all the time. When I take my current car to him for servicing he can put it on the "scope" to check it all out, clear codes etc..
    What do you reckon??

Conzult is best as it gives more and greater detailed information.
You can get diagnostic information in a couple of other ways one of which is from our tech section.
