Due to difficulty getting the price my car is worth on sale, i've decided to seperate the major components and reduce the car to a great stockie instead. As such im looking to get rid of the stereo, I'm after about $1800 for it in total which i beleive is a reasonable price. Will get some pics up if there is enough interest, otherwise some of the install can be viewed at my carsales add, http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?R=10950182 The system includes: 2 x custom made boxes to suit 2 seater, with 12" subs 2 x pioneer 12" competition subs (less than six months old) 1 x cadence 1000 WRMS amp 1 set of kicker comp splits 1 set of pioneer kevlar splits pioneer head unit (can't recall the model off the top of my head but cost almost $800 new!!) there is a false floor i have made to help hold the subs in place and this will be included with the sale. I will also include the required wiring (kicker kit) if desired.
no interest whatsoever?? surely i'm not asking too much for this gear?? this set up allows you to feel the hairs on your head swaying with the music without distorting
stereo equipment is like a pc. the day its bought there is a new model out the week after. Stuff just does not hold its value. 800 for a second hand head unit....dont know what it is??? not having a stab just my opinion.
Separate it dude... Sub box's $150ea Subs $100ea Head Unit $300 Amp $250 Kicker splits $100 Pioneer splits $100 Prolly looking at around $1200ish... But as mentioned in a previous post, it is a lot like PC gear.... Re-sale value is pretty average...
Yeah thats what I was thinking for the prices, only i had the sub boxes at being worth a fair bit more. Was hoping for around $1500 for all the gear, just wanted to avoid the low ballers that want everything for a dollar.
