QLD come and try motorkhana 21/7/13

Hey guys thought I would let anyone that's interested know that a motorkhana is coming up. They are short on entrants so if your interested let me know and I can send you an entry form.

I will have to check on the cost involved as its been a long time since I have been out but it should't be much. It will be held out at Willowbank.

 

Interested... what are the licence requirements for it? I don't have a CAMs licence - although probably need to get one sorted if I want to head out for a track day or 2 sometime soon....

 

You can get a day club and day cams license on the day or pay for a full cams license which is about $60 for 12 months. You only need the full cams license if you plan on doing another motorkhana, khanacross etc.
You don't need cams license for sprint days they have a different one, can't remember what its called.

To compete in a registered car you also need to contact your CTP insurer and get a CTP extension/rally permit. Which is free with NRMA, you may need to pay a small fee with other CTP insurers.
