I've got jap spec super streets. Very happy with them. For the money I'm pleased. Would prefer the Bilstein's like Rob's though.
Oops quoted 8/5 in the group buy thread but could be 7/5 by the time they were done and dusted? I know JP had to get the springs modified. Whatever they are they're as hard as you'd want to go in a road car that's for sure...
I can't even remember what the spring rates are for my Tein Flex. Guessing 8/6, does anyone know? I'll have to check the springs next time I have a wheel off. I've had Tein Super Street and Flex. What's the rate of the SS? Super Street were so good for road use, but didn't offer enough adjustment I was after. The Flex are a lot firmer & a lot of passengers complain about it haha.
Think I found my preference now. Tein Street Advance from Fulcrum suspension, specifically tuned for Australian roads. Comes to $1080. http://performance.fulcrumsuspensio...n-for/1989-2000-nissan-300zx-z32-/GSN22-21SS2
Exactly. Softer springs and re-valved to match. You can actually tell the "AUS-spec" fulcrum Teins apart as they feature a Q (for Queensland) in the part number.
Confirm that's for a set of four for Z32, and that it's not the fixed height "basic" range. That price seems about $800 too cheap for SS
they dont look like street advance coilovers ay, they the new monoflex's? iv got the street advance coilovers that coz sell. I reckon their great, but u need to re-use ur stock top mounts. http://conceptzperformance.com/Cart...&Car_Type=300&UID=20121223051407124.148.100.4
I've emailed them so awaiting reply. The street advance line had prices cut as Tein wanted to cut margins to increase demand.
7kg/5kg looks like a pretty good buy http://performance.fulcrumsuspensio...n-for/1989-2000-nissan-300zx-z32-/GSN22-21SS2
I paid around $2,000 when I bought my Tein Flex a few years back. Here is a little vid I did today (playing with GoPro) which illustrates how firm the ride is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCusl_DEYbw&feature=youtu.be
