Any reason you need to replace the coil packs? It's very unlikely that a factory one stops working, but a 2nd hand replacement set is only about $100. A new performance set of spitfire coils is about $600. But it is highly likely that the coil pack connectors are old, brittle and no longer properly connecting. A new set of connectors is around $50. The work is reasonably easy to do yourself.

Spark plugs can be had for $30 to $100 depends on what you want.

A new set of o2's are maybe $150 or so. They are difficult to get to on a tt and not much easier on an na. Might need some help or a few guides for that.

Nowhere near 2g for this stuff. If that's what a mechanic recommended he is ripping you.

If you need some basic maintenance, replace the coilpack connectors, injector connectors, water temp sensor and idle connectors, spark plugs and o2s. That's about $300 worth.

Smitty whereabouts in melbourne are you located? I might be able to help if im not working. Also totally agree with whitebight...2gz is way expensive...if you are willing to wait...you can get the items from overseas and save a bit more and just keep looking.

Smitty first check if you need new coil packs as they are not cheap to buy and as said earlier they hardly stop working. Check the stuff that whiteknight has said and only replace what you need. And if you go on ebay there is a seller that sells 2 o2 sensors for like $80 delivered and that is cheap and i have never seen anything cheaper than this. If you need anything else just have a look on ebay as that is one of the best places to have a look. If you cant find what you want just ask any forum member and im sure they will be more than willing to help. Im more than willing to help as well even though im not mechanically smart. If you need help finding prices just pm me what you are after and i can have a look for you after i finish tafe. Good luck.

They're great. Currently in my car and running smooth, inspected via conzult by UAS and some members here and confirmed 100%. And a 15 month warranty to boot.

I'll be ordering another pair soon for my next Z.
