ive got the engine out of teh car, so accsesibility is not a problem.
i need to take my clutch and flywheel off so i can bolt the engine to an engine stand, but this is my first ever car clutch work and im not sure how to go about getting it all off..
ive undone the bolts around the perimiter of the clutch, than look as though they hold it to the flywheel, but from there im nto sure what to do next. do i need some special tool to pull it all off?
its an exedy HD clutch if that makes any difference.

    cheers guys,

    Just a couple of dowels

Holding it in place now, just get the edge of a screwdriver in there and prise it off gently.
Flywheel bolts, will be a bit harder, rattle gun is ideal if you have access to one.:)

    awesome cheers mate.

yea i had a theory it just need a bit of prying but i wanted to make sure that was the case first. the engine in question is actually for sale and i didnt want to go damaging anything needlessly.

    cheers.
