I think my clutch is gone, whenever I put the car into any gear and I start to move, the car starts jolting and it feels like Im on neutral, the car starts to move slowly but as I press the accelerator more it just revs and doesn't move like if it was on neutral. Now I can't drive the car, what would be the problem? Happened after I reved it and dumped the clutch for a hard take off.
Sounds stuffed to me... Get under there and have a look at the release fork and make sure it's still ok and not done something weird, but definately sounds like a knackered clutch.
yea mate, sounds like you need a new clutch. It should still be driveable the way it is, it will just drive slowly, and you won't be able to accelerate much faster that the pace of a snail??? I don't have a Z (yet), this happened to my lancer just a few weeks ago, and that was the problem. And I wasn't evem hard on the clutch.
