Help my clutch fork pivot ball thing has snapped clean off in the gearbox. Snapped flush in the bolt hole leaving the threaded part stuck. Anyone else had this drama? Now it's time to easy out that bad boy. Are they high tensil though?

    Geez, Unlucky......

Usually, the "mushroom head" snaps off them. I'm pretty sure they're only mild steel.

Spray the remaining stud with a "bucketload" of WD40 and leave overnight, the last thing you want in there is a broken "easy out".... They ARE high tensile

    Benny_C About as subtle as...

I've had this happen to me too :(

    It's a gearbox-out job to fix. :(:(

Get a Nismo replacement one. They're stronger than the original OEM ones.

Sorry to hear about that. A ~$30 part will cost a lot more with labour for a gearbox pull and push.
