    There is on a TT

Mark, the actual booster I think is in the cabin way up in the dash above or around the bedals. It's a bulbous looking thing.... kinda hard to describe it any better than that. If you look in this pic
[image]http://www.aus300zxclub.com/photodb/eb/eb9.jpg[/image]I am about 90% sure (someone correct me if mistaken) the line coming out of the very end of the balance pipe and then later Tees is for the clutch booster.... your NA should not have this line on the balance pipe.Ben

If you find it in the engine bay, you>>

have been in an enormous accident.:D :D It is a small cannister (about 120mm in dia.)inside the cabin, behind the Clutch Pedal, through which, the Clutch Master Cylinder Actuating Rod passes on it's way between the pedal and the M/Cyl.

The two bolts holding the Master Cylinder to the firewall, are part of the Booster.

Well, this is what I found. Comments welcome

Ok, this is what its meant to look like:
The pipe with the yellow line I assume goes to the booster (thanks blip). The pipe with the red line goes to the brake thingy (the big round black thing)
[image]http://users.bigpond.net.au/vader/boost/tt.jpg[/image]Now in my car I have this:
I still have the pipe going to the brakes (red line), but instead of having a pipe coming off the balance pipe (as above) I have an extra pipe coming off the pipe leading to the brakes. Note the connector piece circled in green. After tracing the extra pipe (yellow line), it goes directly to the back of the little clutch reservior that contains the clutch fluid. I assume this provides the vacuum assistance I can feel when changing gears. If I disconnect this little setup, the clutch is extremely heavy and I would need the legs or Arnie to be able to drive around.
[image]http://users.bigpond.net.au/vader/boost/mycar.jpg[/image][image]http://users.bigpond.net.au/vader/boost/mycarr.jpg[/image]Under the dash I found this:
Is the thing the green arrow is pointing to the clutch booster??
[image]http://users.bigpond.net.au/vader/boost/cb.jpg[/image]Also, see the little stain that the yellow arrow is pointing to?? Is this the sign of a future repair?? Is this a leak?
[image]http://users.bigpond.net.au/vader/boost/cb2.jpg[/image]Anyway, its fun when you discover things on your car. As long as they dont break..:)Cheers

Amazing! Right where I said it would be:YD

That could be a leak from the rear of the Master Cylinder, would be worth keeping an eye on it.Cheers
