The clock in my car is constantly resetting itself to 1:01 can any body tell me why this is happening? I tents to do it at least once a day.

The clocks have a habit of playing up. There is a tech article on a fix which sometimes has good results.

Early model clock requires a resistor or 2 replaced; later model has a different PCB to that shown in T/A and not worth the trouble imho.

I was only looking at this Altronics clock module kit today. If it uses 0.5 inch 7 segment leds it would probably be possible to make up a replacement. Wouldn't need the alarm function unless you sleep in the Zed like Shazza :D.

that's correct. mine was completely dead prior to repair.

once i got it working it wouldn't hold the time and resets itself to 1 randomly.

Replace it with a boost controler/turbo timer/EDFC and buy a watch :) Works for me :p
