    Hi guys

I could really use some advice here. I posted the other day about my aircon not working. It turns out my climate control wont blw hot OR cold.
I had a conversion done about a year and a half ago, at which point my aircon was changed over to be Aus compliant (jap half cut), and regassed. It has been working perfectly up until the weekend. I tried to use the aircon, and I can feel the compressor engage, and there is no funny noises. Same with the heater. It just blows ambient temp air though, with one exception, it still seems to blow hot air onto my feet. Thats it. And no cold air at all.
I have done a search, and have identified a couple of possibilities: 1. the AC amp is shot, or one of my sensors is not working. I also harbour a small hope that seeing as its both hot and cold issues its a fuse I can replace. Any help greatly appreciated.

Had a quick look at the symptom chart in the manual and the diagnosis charts, and you seem right on the money with fuse or control unit.

Have you checked the fuses ? :)

I have checked the aircon fuse in the engine bay (the little red 10A one) and it seemed fine. There also seems to be a largish "box" type of fuse labelled as a Nissan part, but no way to tell if its blown. I suspect there are more air con related fuses located elsewhere, maybe in-cabin? Any further details on where to find fuses to check would be appreciated. I think I'll replace all fuses just to be sure.

Did you check the connector, give them a jiggle etc ?

    Yeah

I replaced all the fuses I could find, and fiddled with it all, and tried cycling through demist/auto/econ/hi/low etc. No dice unfortunately.

I'll see if I can work out the Diagnostic sequence this weekend and get the system to tell me whats wrong.

    Ok this is weird.

I pulled my dash apart today to get at the Climate Control Amp. I had a fiddle and realized its going to be a whole day type of operation, and put it all back together. My heater has suddenly started to work as it should. I have no idea why this would have happened as I didn't do anything behind the dash. I'm not complaining as the heater is what I need most at the moment. The air con still isn't working though. I also had a play with a few of the sensors, and found that the fan in my ceiling sensor isn't activating. It will start spinning it I manually turn it, but not by itself. I don't think this is causing my aircon issues but I'll change it anyway. Could my aircon lose all its gas in less than 18 months and wouldnt I have noticed this?
