Hi Z Team, I need some help in determining which side is which? I have ordered a pair of chrome throttle bodys to be manufactured and they have unfortunately come out with a pitted finish.The plater has emailed me pics so as i can inspect upon whether i still want them. Both those pictures show them in the same orientation, just from a slightly different camera angle. Which is also how they sit on the car.
damn it would be so much easier to chrome, too much time spent with sandpaper and autosol and they're still only half as shiney as that.
Eric is correct, as I would expect! Both your pix show the TB's from the top. Your "pitted side" pic more clearly shows the water pipes, which are at the bottom. There is only one orientation possible. Pic below is my passenger side TB - body of the TB was polished, and hardware (bolts, springs, brackets) were chromed.
