Chrome interior door/pull handles -Terrano II

Today I have been informed that only one side of these door handles are available from overseas, the other side being nill stock and listed as discontinued! (Special edition part/limited run not to be restocked)

There is no alternative but to scavange the Chrome door handles from a 2nd hand/wrecker in the UK.

Sad, I can only ask someone give me a heads up if that UK wrecker comes through with a mulitude of em!

Only the right hand side door handle can be purchased new from Nissan.
Left side is no longer available / will not be restocked.:lame:

Ive tried for months to obtain these from a wrecker prior to a group buy without success...

I've only just checked this thread as I've been away on vacation. I'd be happy to assit in you guys doing a block order of these. As for the NLS part, I'll check with Nissan when I can and will revert. I do have a few other avenues I could go down as well. There are a few traders in the UK that can source obselite/out of date stock.

I have had loads of of people emailing me to help them source them, but I can't help you all individually as I just don't have the time , but quite happy to try and assist with you trying to order a large quantity.

Z1 motorsport in the US have been on to me too about them, so you're not the only ones! I'll see if there is anymore info I can drag up.

Sweet, thank god si is on our side now for this. Though it seems that as every day pass the possiblity of getting these rare parts is getting slimmer by the second. As ive stated before im not fussed on price like some people are about these parts. But i do have my limits. But im sure you'll find us a good price anyways so no need to worry. I just wanted to say im in 110%, no matter what the cost.

Partial update. It seems that indeed one side is an NLS as below...

80671 IF201 (LH) handle no longer available
80670 IF201 (RH) handle ?20.96 + VAT - 1 week

There are other part numbers for chrome handles listed for slightly later vehicles - I've asked for confirmation of retro-fit. They 'should' fit as I don't believe the part changed design, so may have just had a replacement part number issued or very minor design modification. But will not know for sure until I get further confirmation.

80670/1-0X000 fit some special models 11/01 - 02/02 and all models from 02/02 on.

Will revert with more info when to hand.

Its a used part however basically in excellent condition. I have contacted the seller for more handles and awaiting his reply.

Talk about reflection all that chrome

Their going on my Z sometime soon.

Ah nice! They're really a great addition to the interior. especially since the handles are metal rather than plastic.....worth the effort to hunt them down I think.

They are very very easy to install. Rip the door cards off, then it's just 1 screw holding the handle in place, and 2 rods, 1 for the lock and 1 for the lever. It just goes on direct replacement. If I say it's easy, anyone can do it.

And there is light at the end of the tunnel..... ;-)

However; I gave it to Zilver since he needed it more than me, I'm sure I will find another pair soon...the rear one you can actually use for the RHS.

Right I have a response from Nissan. They are unable to confirm whether the superseeded part number is the replacement item. So if someone wants to take a gamble, I'll gladly order and see what I get.
