Chilli - "Can't take the heat"

It is interesting to read the category assigned to Chilli in the members list.

"Can't take the heat?"

I take offence.

Here is a man who has been contributing to this forum, both in person and in writing (albeit in his own opinionated way) for many years, being slandered by whoever assigns these classifications.

One has to question the whole concept of giving "impressive" (amusing?) titles based on the number of a person's "contributions".

Many of us take value from this site without feeling the need to practise our literary skills in a public forum:

Lou ... a lady with a great deal of sad experience in the Zed space. "hardly worth a listen"?? - Oh yes, let's keep up the blonde jokes! - UGG
* ChrisG (Stealth) ... - gone?
* Al (Xplosiv) ... - gone!
* Dreamzed (John and Marilyn) (who have hosted multiple parties at their house) Still with us, but very quietly.
* Let's have another snide shot at John P whilst we are at it, we certainly don't seem to value his expertise.

We are losing valuable knowledge!

It is not hard to irritate people once you know their hot spots. Lloyd is an ex Police officer who is very predictable in his responses to certain stimuli.
I know, I tried to run him down with a 4WD once.

Lloyd is guilty of not putting up with rubbish from the likes of controversy seeking, spam generating "experts" who skipped the Bedside Manner 101 course.
(Lloyd, VTD is a useful tool if one finds the content too offensive.)

Lloyd is also guilty of unfailingly assisted new owners at cruises and who, with his wife, has made many awkward "newbies" comfortable.

Lloyd, if you read this, I question your decision to boycott the forum.
I see that you dropped in today. Don't do a Mark Latham! "Nil illegitimus carborundum" to quote some bastard latin.
But, by the same logic, as they said in Finding Nemo, you don't have to bite at EVERY lure!

Moderators, if Lloyd does feel the need to withdraw, I would expect you to respect his decision and I would ask you to immediately remove the mindless assault on a colleague.

You will likely find that lloyd, like a few of us, can change his classification to whatever he likes. If he dropped in maybe he changed it himself for whatever reason. That would be my first guess.

I would be very disappointed! I expect the moderators to be, whilst human, at the least, impartial and not make snide remarks unworthy of their position and status within this community.

I think you are missing Lloyds sense of humour this time dude. He can change his category just like anyone who contributed to the Beta of the new forum.

 

Ahh! If only I could be sure that it was Chili himself who had

changed his classification. I'm not that sure that he is so self-deprecating.
