Pm'd Chili the other day bout these... Still in the process of having them made, was a minor hickup apparently. But they are definitely coming.

He apologised for the delay and asked that we be patient a little longer.

UPDATE (The Movie)

OK Guys,
Here is the full story....

Firstly, the braces are almost ready to be shipped (still applying stickers and packaging ready for posting).

Initial delay was caused by a prolonged steeplechase of trying to get enough numbers AND payment. This went on for a lot longer than it had any right to have done. There is nothing to be gained by pointing fingers in this area, it's all academic at this point in time.

Next, after getting the parts back from the welder, I discovered that the laser-cutting drongo who made the blanks, somehow moved one of the mounting holes 5mm off-centre. So back to the factory for an argument and eventual replacement (turns out that this is the same firm that stuffed UAS's Air Deflector GB).
Then I had to re-purchase the parts to send off to get welded again (at my cost).
All of this stuffing about brought us to a time which coincided with the Metal Polisher having to move to new premises, and a further delay while this was achieved (and he could start on our braces).

All is now well, and you will all get them pretty soon.

Would I do another GB? NO! NADA! NEVER!

 

so i guess we wont be expecting a sequal any time soon huh!!

I'm probably just a little jaded because of the frustration factor this time around. We didn't have any of this rubbish previously (104 units), and suddenly it becomes harder to get it done correctly.
I'll probably calm down after this lot are posted out to everyone, I just don't like to make promises that can't be delivered because of someone else being slack.
