Hey My newish 17" Apec wheels (black with silver face) were scratched in an accident. The wheel shop that fixed the car told me the wheels are not damaged structurally or bent in any way, only scratched. Two of the rims are badly scratched. One has a tiny scratch. The other one (pictured, unfortunately it was on top of the stack) is not damaged at all. The tires are about 90%, and theyre 225s for the front and 235s for the back. I couldnt be bothered lifting the wheels to take pics if no-one was interested, so if you read this and actually want to buy them ill take pics of the rest. I'm after $700. Cost to fix the 2 badly scratched rims is $50-100 each. I wouldnt bother fixing the one with the little scratch. That means you get the rims and tires only a couple of months old for almost half price. Or just dont fix them and let everyone assume youre crap at parking! The wheels are at my house in Randwick.
i'm also interested but... can you post the rim sizes (width) and also the offset? are spacers required to fit them?
Re: i'm also interested but... hey guys i havent been able to take any pictures yet, just imagine that they are entirely scratched to hell and go from there if you like, that way youll be happily surprised. otherwise, i should be able to take pics on the weekend. I dont know offset and rim size. I had them on my 300 with the thinnest spacers available on the front.
MORE PICTURES AND DETAIL Well ive had another look at the rims, and the damage isnt as bad as i thought. TWO rims are UNDAMAGED. One can be seen in the pictures in the first post. The other is below (sorry about the colouring, night mode on crappy phone.. it just looks the same as the other undamaged one) ONE rim is LIGHTLY SCRATCHED (below) ONE rim is BADLY SCRATCHED (below) The smash repairer told me both are repairable and he was confident they werent structurally damaged, especially since they were just scraped, didnt actually hit a gutter straight on or something to warp them. Also included are the 16 black nuts and 4 lock nuts (with key) suited to these wheels and the zed. As previously stated, the tyres are basically new.
