Hey Guys I'll let you know i'm only 15, and im preparing my 300zx for when im on my L's / P's soon.

How would i go changing the interior? Like, All the clothy carpety stuff on the sides/glovebox, would i peel that off and paint it whatever color? or would i go somewhere like spotlight and get the vinyl and wrap it myself or what?
I don't know much about this sort of stuff, so id thought id ask you guys

I got this photo off google and yeah :) the blueness is what i mean aha,

    Ashton,

You're more then welcome to come and have a look at my car. I've changed from stock tweed to a full leather interior trim with recaro seats.

I'd say, do nothing. Wait 6-8 years till your frontal lobe develops and you realise that blue shouldn't be in any cars interior, ever. Thank me.

Your front bar and side skirts are fabulous, what are they?

My last zeds interior was blue vinyl, it was freaking horrible. If you want to change the tweed out for something more modern looking, either get a retrim done properly with a good material like leather or suede, or for the cheaper option, consider dyeing the tweed a different colour. A few guys on here have already done it :

I have a few cans of the stuff in the mail, looks to be the best cheap diy option to updating the interior.

    Agreed but..

That blue interior isnt the best, but the OEM/Stock suede blue interior that came in some zeds is very very nice, really needs to match the exterior colour i suppose

Its easy to do, no kits are NEEDED. i did all mine. All you have to do is take off the tweed on the panel, then trace the pattern. Cut out that pattern of the material you want, leather, suede, cloth ect ect.

Mine is similar but red vinyl. Bloody awful. But was done professionaly and has held up well. Will replace it all with dark grey micro suede or something when I get around to it.
