Centre Panel Trouble

    Bought myself one of those 3A POD filters and adapters today, got home and had everything ready, gear, shady spot to work, beer and then first two screws to get the center panel off - BAM run into trouble sigh ... one is stripped so bad you cant get it to budge, just keeps turning and turning grrrr its too hot for this, i think i am going to have to somehow cut it off...... any suggestions ?

    drill it out or grind the head off :)

    yeah i tried to drill it out to begin with no real luck, so i just grinded that bastard out !! was satisfying!!

    You wedge the blade of a screwdriver under the head to put upward pressure on the bolt while you turn it. If you are lucky that's enough to get the threads to grip so you can get it out

    Yeah man tried that too but yeah didn't work so as i said i just grinded it off. oh well :eek:
