Just changed the centre bearing as i found a broken uni and buggered centre bearing when i first bought the car, when i removed the old bearing there was no spacers so i didn?t realise that they we‘re supposed to be there, i know have a vibration berween 30 - 40 kmph, after looking thru the manual(yeah hindsight!) i realised that this is possibly my issue, question is does anybody have sizes of the spacers or have some they don‘t
    want?

Sorry can't help with the spacer thickness, but another thing to watch out for is that you have the correct centre bearing. NA & TT are different. One manufacturer incorrectly claims their centre bearing suits both, and it doesn't, it's NA only. Been a few threads on this recently. Quick search should bring up the info.

On another note i replaced the back section of the tailshaft with one i found on ebay 2nd hand, when we put the shaft back together we noticed a sticker ?F? but this section would only line up the holes with this sticker at the rear, is this sticker indicating the front end or could it be a ring in?

Again I can't help you with the sticker, but you may need to unbolt and rotate the shafts relative to each other to reduce vibration also. The two shafts are balanced together and should always be bolted back together as they came apart. Start with the spacers and confirm you have the correct centre bearing.

Hey B-Line, had a look in Nissan parts software (FAST), and its called a "Spacer - Insulator", part number 37518-30P07 ($24.48USD @ CZP), it was used up to 05/94, there after it was replaced with a "washer-plain", part number 08915-4421A.

Here is an image of the washer assuming CZP has used a true picture (they don't always), but at 64 cents I don't think it will be anything special.

I don't think that would be enough to cause your problem.

Try clocking the shaft halves to see if you can work it out.

Given that you said you replaced the rear half because of a uni I will assume you have an NA, so the chances are you have the right replacement centre bearing.

Another thing that is often not put back on along with those spacers is the exhaust heat shield, it has been thought that heat may be a contributor to centre bearing issue's.

Most people end up fitting a 1 piece after market shaft.

7mm? Wow i am surprised they forgot to put them back in!, i would think that this may be why the centre bearing and one uni was stuffed, anyway thanks for the pic, Tektrader if you have some you can send i would be most appreciative!
