catalytic converters

hi guys.
i would like to get your help i need to replace the cats on my z as someone hollow the originals out, making the car louder and anoying!
i want to find out what brand and type i can use to replace them it also has a sensor on the cats on the outlet side. the car is a n/a import and im slowly restoring it back to a decent conditions .

as i am new to the z im trying to learn as much as i can about them.
so any advice will be greatly appreciated

 

Sensor will be for cat temp sensors. Get some from your local muffler shop if you are concerned on cost otherwise check out www.sureflorxhaust.com.au and look at their ballistic catalytic converters. Worth te extra $$$

I bought some magnaflow cats from summit racing. The pair plus shipping from the states, were still cheaper then buying just one magnaflow cat here in Australia.

The ones I got were a universal fit, 2.5 inch in diameter.

 

Just bought 4 x 2.5" 200CPSI S/S body cats for $100 each :br:
