car idling very high

hey guys i toke my car out for a lil drive today and i started it up and it was idling up to 2000rpms or more?..
then after 5 mins then start to idl good then it went down really low and sounded like it was gona turn off it was idling under 1000rpms.
then after 2mins started to ild good.

would any one know what could be wrong?
its been happening a few times but i thought it was because it was cold.
but even when im at the lights it starts goin up really high.

and also every morning i get in my car the clutch peddle in all the way down i have to pull it back up but it starts working good agin..

the clutch is bran new i got it done 1month ago.

Could be your air regulator or your AAC (auxilary air control). Gave mine a good clean a couple of days ago. Read this:http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.335

same thing is happening to me, ill check those out cheers for the info

 

If a clean fixes things up in the short term, replace the connector and save yourself the headache down the run when you're trying to diagnose some other fault and this starts playing up.
