Hey guys - I drove my newly purchased 89TT 2+2 down form Brisbane to Sydney yesterday, I've just dropped it off to get the blue slip - before that I went to see my general mechanic for him to have a quick look over the car and see if anything might fail - the only real thing he was concerned about was the blow off valves & he said maybe the exhaust might be just over the limit My question is, how difficult/ costly is it to sort out the BOV issue if that's what they get me on? - or even the exhaust? Many thanks for any helpful advice/ suggestion
BOV issue is easy. Just get some recircs back in for the Blue slip. Exhaust issue - get some blank gaskets made up and punch a smaller hole into the gasket than the diameter of the exhuast. Like a 1 inch hole. Car will be gutless but it'll be quiet (courtesy of ezzupturbo)
