Hi Guys.. Alright, so I'm about to spit the dummy over my car - im doing endless country trips - 15000km this year of country roads, and my front bar is firetrucked. I can't justify a respray yet, so want to look at a car bra to both cover it from looking so bad, and protect it from getting any worse.. I have a Bomex type II front bar - how / where / how much will it cost to get a custom car bra made up? - has anyone had one this custom made up before? Thanks :zlove:
I have seen some on ebay...they have some for the zed but if you are after a custom one made up you could try contacting the seller and see if they can help...good luck Abraham
always for sale on yahoo. Get an oem 1 and have it modified. Will probably cost a lot less that way than starting from scratch.
A marine trimmer will make easy work of modding one of the stockers. They make all their stuff from canvas and poly, so will work out fine for you. Not sure if this helps you if you are too far inland though...
It wouldn't be too much to modify from stock to the bomex type II bar? - see sig pic.. Their completely different styling and everything.. only thing that would sit common is the headlights and nose..
How about you take some measurements, make some calls to some trimmers, throw some ideas around and see what needs to be done, and how much it will cost. Sadly our advice here over the internet has ceased to be helpful, short of you getting away from the desk and speaking to the professionals. Or if it helps, I can say "yeah maaaate, she'll be right, go for the stock one" ... and possibly be wrong.
Yeh - ebay seller will do em The ones on ebay will do custom as well if you supply the measurements UK mob on ebay - from memory
