What did you do with the light green wire? Have you activated the reset button on the head unit? http://www.crutchfield.com.edgesuite.net/pix.crutchfield.com/Manuals/158/158XAVA1.PDF
What does the region code have to do with anything. Region code is just a piracy protection ie, won't play some quality of DVDs. Correct me if I'm wrong. The green wire isn't connected to anything because I ran hard wires to each speaker. I did hijack the remote wire from the ignition power cable (black/red) from the stock audio harness. Amp is turning on fine now. I didnt know you could reset the head unit . I read the manual you sent me THANKS BY THE WAY
There should be three green wires two darker one with a trace, they're the speaker wires. The last green a light one (from the Sony head unit) needs to be hooked up to play DVDs it not being attached may be causing your issues. Reality is it should be attached to your park brake so you can only watch it while stopped a lot of people add a switch so you can watch DVDs anytime you want.
Turned out to be the head unit . Re wired my other head unit in and what do you know BOOM BOOM SHAKES THE ROOM. Audio harness went wrom this to this Everything works as it should Thanks for all the help guys
