Do any of the VIC members have a grinder that I could use over the next few weeks? I will be attempting to clear my tailights as per the tech article and it seems that only a grinder will do the trick in cutting the plastic. CheersJEDI-77
good idea ben, i used a grinder>>> and it was a pain in the arse not to mention very loud espically since i was doing mine like a 1am in the morning(i couldnt sleep), soldering iron would be much easier to control even though it would be a touch slower.
I suppose you mean A die grinder?I have a bench grinder (well it actually isn't mine) but I can't think of how you would use that to clear the lights!!!!! Cheers,Danny
What about a dremel the cutting disc is much smaller than a grinders so it could be much more accurate than a grinder and faster than a soldering iron.
