After great advise from the forum ;) thanks everyone, I found out that my drivers side O2 sensor is stuffed, I am going through a fair bit of fuel and it runs like a hairy goat when it hits top temp (only for a bit) but can't afford the O2's just yet. My zed ran heaps better when I unplugged the O2, so I am wondering if I can unplug the problem one (or both?) until I get the new ones? Thanks for any advise
    Cheers Fran :):zlove:

    yes

but you will only get about 250K's to a tank

PZP has O2's that will cost you less than 2 tanks of fuel

    do the math ;)

    2nd grab some from pzp

all the o2 sensors do is let the ecu know the air fuel ratio. if they are unplugged the car will still work, its just now the computer has no reading so it ends up guessing what it needs more of, which in turns ends up with crap fuel econ

and the noname ones sandeep got from there only lasted a few months, much better spending the extra and getting quality ngk ones that will last imo
you do the math lol (have you tested these in your zed ??)
why people cheap out on something that is going to pay for itself in fuel economy and and are a proven product that last is beyond me

What are you talking about? i never heard anything back from sandeep?

Our O2 sensors don't 'last a few months' and they are not 'noname'. Lol. They're PCS branded and should have no problems lasting 50,000-100,000kms as long as they are used correctly.

We've sold at least 200 sets of these and not one complaint. :)

As is common knowledge, mine were replaced AGES ago, and even using the car for work, they are working fine

I didnt say all your sets only lasted a few months, from reading his posts sandeep has said numerous times on here in the last few months that his set he got from your new batch failed very quickly

My post (no doubt it will probably be removed anyway  )was not to degrade your o2's Tom, i was only pointing out that ngk are an oem proven product, where as new o2's on the market need to be proven over a long period of time to stand up to ngk's standing already in the marketplace (surely you would agree with this ?)

Even the best brands can have a faulty product or even batch from time to time

geez guys I didn't mean to start a O2 war

Thanx for all the advise. Did the math and I am not scrimping it is just my zed still runs but if I spend the money on O2's at the moment I wont be able to afford petrol for work so math = still runs with O2's not new but wont run without $$ for petrol  :D Thanx guys;)
    Cheers Fran
Ps. How much for your O2's posted to QLD 4655 ZRATED?

Only one of mine failed. The other was still operating perfectly. The one that failed would display 0.3V constantly, I was told by Newkleer that this meant that there was a failure in the heating wire or something. So I pretty much put it down to bad luck and didn't really think it was worth chasing up with PZP. I had a look at Mikez32's o2 sensors on Datascan and they were working perfectly also... so as usual I'm just unlucky.

O2 sensors are O2 sensors, there would be no difference between the PZP and NGK sensor part. I just decided to use the NGK's as I could get them for a similar price as I know someone who works at an auto parts store and didn't have to get them shipped. If I had to pay retail I wouldn't have got the NGK's and would have bought another PZP one. Actually I found that the PZP O2 sensor wires were the perfect length for the zed. The NGK O2's have heaps of excess cable that I had to tie up.
