CAM timing

    What effect on CAM Timing does having the Block decked and heads skimmed?

    I re-call seeing something on this here but can't find it.

    Eric will be the man to ask, but unless huge amounts are taken I don't think it would have any measurable effect

    That article covers it very well, you will not see any measurable performance loss by a normal ammount of machining. Max limit I would go is 0.030 overall. After that, you would need to be looking at adjustable gears to correct the mis-alignment.
