hey guys! first zed problem in a while, after installing my immobilizer/alarm system this was bound to happen... My indicators dont work!! Last night during my first drive once it was all in and finished, the indicators didnt work at all, then they decided to all come on at once, even with the car switched off. now they dont work at all again. The switch itself works, tested that already. And the hazard switch has not had a problem, still works. And all the fuses seem to be fine. I've re done what i thought was the wire that i cut into for the indicators, but still no luck What does this sound like to you guys? currently its all out again so i can work on it, keen to fix this issue asap
Did you disassemble the LHS pod to enable you to wire everything up? If so, double check that the Hazard switch hasnt gummed up. This tends to be a trouble spot when tinkering. Been caught myself. The switch will act as if its working find, but it wont release the contacts inside entirely, creating the circuit for the indicator switch to work again. It will operate the hazards and switch them on/off. But not return circuit correctly. Just spray it with electrical parts cleaner and try again.
