Are there any places in VIC who make new heater cores? Should I ground

the heater core to prevent electrolysis? Someone on tt.net did this and it dropped 0.1V in total, I guess it is better than nothing??

I just made some calls and found a place who can either get me a genuine one or custom make one in Brass or Copper. What would be best?? He said the aluminium ones are baked together where as brass and copper are soldered but can withstand more corrosion and dirtier water etc. Both have pros and cons.

    What would be preferable?

what else is in the loop?

What other metals is the water circulating through?

If you pass water through a aluminium radiator then a copper one, you'll get ongoing galvanic corrosion. Coolant additives can stop/slow this, but personally i'd try to avoid it.
