No probs mate and I've never been one to let these things drag out. The cutoff date as it stands is 13/9 at which point I'll see what I can work out with what we have. If you can hang on that long I'll do my best to make sure it's worth your while -if bigbaz is able to go ahead I have a pretty good feeling we'll get GB price.

    Need some info

What are the performance benefits of braided lines if you have stock calipers and the lines are already working well??

    thanks

Less pressure needed on the brake pedal for the calipers to engage as you don't have as much pressure loss through line flex.

Rob, any idea on the timing for the braided lines? I've got to put new discs on for RWC and would be good to do it all at once - by the end of September if possible.

There are three sets in stock and the rest have been ordered. If you need them for RWC then one of the in-store sets has your name on it.

Rob, its not that I need the lines for RWC, but the front discs are under size. I have new discs here, plus a spare set of rebuilt and painted calipers, and it would be great to do everything in the one go. If you can PM me the balance to pay including postage, I can get that under way.

    Cheers, Mikey.

Is it true that only 1989/90 NA's need TT calipers to fit the upgrade?

Only way to be sure is to go and measure the rotors you have now. If they are 30mm then your sweet!

Are the Braided lines the same size as stock or bigger?

What do you mean by bigger? Longer? Larger ID? They are a direct swap with no mods if that's what you're getting at. ..

Arn't the upgraded braid lines usually bigger in diameter while still being a direct fit? I dont know i always thought that they would be bigger than stock for some reason.

No, they are better because they are braided which is stiffer than rubber.

    Not bigger diameter,

usually smaller, if anything, because slightly reduced wall thickness is compensated for by the added strength of braiding:
