    Hi
I have a brake fluid leak apparently from a small grubscrew in the bottom of the master cylinder shaft. What's the grubscrew for? I can't actually see the grubscrew but I can feel it and the fluid is only coming off it, nowhere else.
Is it just a matter of replacing the screw and a seal? Can it be done in the car or does the power steering assembly have to be removed?
    Thanks

    IB ?????

I think you'll find that you need to get your master cylinder resleaved.

IB is correct. Seals are leaking. Re-sleave costs between $180 and $250 if you r & r the master cylinder yourself and drop it into a break specialist.

Thanks Ian, Thanks Rob, I'll start tomorrow - or maybe Tuesday. Obviously the sooner the better so I can drive it again.
