im going to farking burn this c**t of a car. got the nut off the exhaust. now the manifold is fouling on the steering rod. trying to remove the manifold..but the farking bolts are impossible to get too.] farking fark fark of a car. engine is away from the gearbox by about an inch and a half, but wont go any further due to the steering rod. wtf man, anyone got a bon fire happening. ive had enough of this car!!!
You have to disconnect steering at the universal joint and move steering rod to one side to remove the engine. I have also found it easier if you also loosen the four 17mm bolts on the steering rack, this allows the rack to be turned slightly and easier removal of the universal joint
