The Sydney Showboats will join a gathering crowd on Sydney Harbour this Boxing Day for the start of the annual Sydney to Hobart yacht race, one of the most demanding races in the world. An outstanding fleet of ocean racing yachts with entries from all over the world will join Australian rivals. Entrants will line up for the 630 nautical mile ocean race starting at 1pm in what has become a tradition since the first race in 1945.
