Have been a fan of that 180 for a while and do like the look. Personally, after doing some calculations on how much money I've sunk into zeds over the years I've decided that I will do things on the cheap from now on. I can appreciate the look and have done quite a few ghetto spec mods to my car: riveted sheet metal custom stock front bar, garden edging lip, painted up with a paintbrush with gloss black from bunnings, also rather than sourcing a passenger side cowl I have made up my own from sheet metal and riveted that in place too. i dont mean to be rude at all when saying this but is it because of the price to repair that you are doing this?? or do you actually like the look of it?
I like the raw look of it, wouldn't have done it otherwise. Just saying that the way I view my zed has changed I guess. Didn't do it to please anyone other than myself.
ok interesting! I wouldnt mind seeing some different engine mods if you ever get that far instead of the usual shopping list people have??
same here, ive always loved the rough look. Ive seen some nice pics of old datsun's and stuff done in this style
i love these old Laurels i want one so bad boso style doesn't have to be rat look and held together by rust. i prefer these types of cars with huge flares and oner the top exhausts. the Kaido racer style looks more out there. [/QUOTE]
there's an overall style which all kind of fits in with each other, and i love all the different styles, with the out there offset's, low rides, big exhaust's and rough raw design's, they seem to do most of them so well over in J-town
