tassuperkart Its a lie I tell you!

A question for the engineers/technicians. I cant easily find and answer for this.

Guys, if you have 2 turbos blowing into a single plenum.
Lets just imagine for now that the plenum is an hypothetically ideal design and all valves see equal pressure from the plenum.
    Say, turbo 1 @ 1.0 bar and turbo 2 blowing @ 1.2 bar.

What pressure will the inlet valves see?

    An average?, highest? Lowest? /?????

1.2 bar, the valves will see the highest pressure, not an average. Pressure can not be reduced unless there is a loss. The 1.2 bar will not be lower because here is a 1 bar source aswell. conversely the 1 bar source will also see 1.2bar.

Pascal's law states that "a change in the pressure of an enclosed incompressible fluid is conveyed undiminished to every part of the fluid and to the surfaces of its container. Courtesy of wiki.
