Erm 2 things: 1. Can anyone tell me what these clear thingies packed with cotton are (They are the yellow rectangles in the diagram below the pic)? 2. Wtf is happening here? Are my turbos set up to boost to wastegate pressure? The green dotted line is the stock boost control solenoid routing, but I can't see if it is actually connected to the red lines. I'm only guessing since it goes under the plenum. Is that where they usually go? I can't really see whats going on with the red T-pieces - but I can clearly see the t-pieces! using the stock gauge atm so a little unclear as to what i'm boosting to . Cheers Greg.
No idea what they are at all, junk all the standard shit are run a turbotech MBC, much simpler and neater. I found this pic useful when figuring out what is what, as per a standard zed And show me some pics of this TT dammit.
1: Pretty sure they are just like a mini air filter type thing, they come with some electronic boost guages & controllers 2: its hard to see whats going on there. but your diagram looks ok ( minus the dotted green standard stuff ??? ) if you are running a aftermarket boost control.
Yeah I don't think that dotted green stuff is actually part of the system, I think I got those hoses mixed up with AIV hoses . So disregarding the dotted green lines, would I be correct in saying that a boost controller would work if I put it between those filters? assuming everything is hooked up as per the diagram?
Wow Greg, what's going on there haha, I'd bin that crap and get a Turbosmart eboost street. Best ebc I've come across, bin the AIV's too.
